Metz Orthodontics offers patients three choices when it comes to standard braces. We have traditional brackets with colored ties, self-ligation brackets and high esthetic ceramic brackets. During your orthodontic consultation, Dr. Metz can recommend one of the styles to meet your treatment needs.
Traditional Braces

Our traditional braces are made by GAC and feature a low profile for increased comfort. The outer edges of the tie wings are rounded and smoothed to make life with braces easier. The best part is you will get to choose the colors that tie the wire to the bracket to match your unique style!

Self-Ligation Braces

Dr. Metz also offers the GAC In-ovation braces. These braces have a sliding door that eliminates the need for a colored tie around the bracket. The wire will slide more efficiently which creates less friction and allows for more time between adjustment appointments. These braces are ideal for certain patients, ask Dr. Metz if they are right for you!

Ceramic Self-Ligation Braces

The ceramic option of the In-ovation bracket provides an esthetic look and the same advantages as the metal In-ovation braces. The sliding door eliminates the need for clear ties that discolor over time. In-ovation C is a great option for the patient interested in a near invisible look.
